Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre

Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre is one of the longest established outdoor education centres in the country, operating since 1969. The Centre has highly qualified, professional staff and is able to offer first class, action-packed multi-activity residential breaks for individuals and groups.

Activities offered

Activities include canoeing, rock climbing and abseiling, archery, hill walking, kayaking, orienteering. Expeditions by sea kayak or on foot through spectacular highland scenery are also on offer. Some of our outdoor skills weekends are approved Individual Learning Account (ILA) courses, including the Summer Mountain Leader award and canoe & kayak instructor training and assessments.

Location

Ardroy is set in the heart of the Argyll Forest Park, nestled on the shores of Loch Goil and surrounded by mountains. The perfect location for a Scottish multi-activity holiday. The Centre is only one and a half hours north of Glasgow, 6 miles from the Rest and Be Thankful, off the A83 Inveraray-Tarbet road.

Accommodation

Ardroy can accommodate up to 70 clients in 3 comfortable bunkhouse style units, each with its own bathrooms. The Centre is fully catered, with dining rooms, lounge, activity rooms and clothes drying facilities.
