Clearwater Paddling specialises in sea kayaking and each trip is personalised, avoiding pre-set schedules, which allows the interests of the group to shape our days. To ensure a relaxing, fulfilling and memorable experience we deliberately keep our groups small with a maximum of ten people.

We see to all details from guiding on the sea and land, to preparing and cooking meals. We are an eco-friendly company, and take every step possible to minimise our impact on these beautiful islands. As we gently travel around our dedication to the environment will be clear.

Activities offered

We have a programme to suit many tastes: Lodge-based tours, which allow you to enjoy your kayaking and mixing it with the best of comforts; Wild camping tours, mixing the amazing scenery and wildlife with the allure of landing your kayak on a beach, sitting round the camp fire and sleeping under canvas; Journey, these trips are for the more experienced paddler, with longer crossings and larger swells to contend with, but with equal pleasures to enjoy; Day trips, a shorter experience, but just as memorable, with the chance to explore the scenery and wildlife of the Outer Hebrides.  All our trips are subject to the weather and conditions - if they are not safe, we will not paddle!

Accommodation

Dependant on the choice of trip, we use lodges which have warm, welcoming and comfortable accommodation where hot showers, wonderful food and comfortable beds are waiting, or camping under canvas.
