Raasay Outdoor Centre, Scotland

Raasay House Hotel and Activities is situated on a beautiful inner hebridean island just of the Isle of Skye. Its location is remote yet easily accessible, the ferry journy from Skye takes just 15 minutes. Inverness airport is two and a half hours away by road, and the island can be reached by both bus and rail from all major cities.

Established in 1984 Raasay House has been running outdoor education courses, mulit-activity holidays, holidays for unaccompanied children, skills courses, corporate weeks and days out, for 25 years.

The island is a wildlife paradise, with the opportunity to spot both golden and sea eagles along with many other birds of prey, sea birds and sea life. Red deer can be spotted in both their woodland and moorland habitats. Raasay is long thin island, and much of the landscapes beauty lies in the fact that, whilst the island is the size of Manhatten, it boast only 150 permanent residents.

Walking, exploring and mountain biking is truely a unique "wilderness" experience!
