Cairngorm Snowsports is a not-for-profit organisation that trades as The Ski School and The Snowboard School and is the only ski and snowboard school based on Cairngorm Mountain. In partnership with Cairngorm Mountain Ltd (the operating company of the ski area) we offer all levels of instruction and coaching, from getting beginners going and giving them the confidence to do it on their own, to instructor training, freestyle and race training courses. We employ around 25 full-time and 45 part-time instructors each winter season, most of whom are BASI qualified.

Activities offered

We offer all levels of instruction and coaching, from getting beginners going and giving them the confidence to do it on their own, to freestyle and race training courses. We also work closely with BASI (the British Association of Snowsport Instructors) to deliver Instructor Training.

Location

We are based on Cairngorm Mountain, near Aviemore, at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. As the only ski and snowboard school based on the mountain we are ideally located to deliver courses and packages throughout the winter months.
